Welcome

to Hannah's blog. Hannah, a happy healthy 7 year old was diagnosed on January 30, 2007 with medulloblastoma, a malignant brain tumor.

It's new

I know it's new, and lots of junk still here, but it's a new template I'm trying out. Still lots of work to do, we'll see!!

Happy to report that we are home from the hospital. Hannah's ANC shot up to 5,900 (some sort of miracle I think) so we already had our bags packed when the doctors came around in the early afternoon. I had to give Hannah one more shot at home tonight, to ensure her white count wouldn't crash again. We go back to clinic on Wednesday for a follow up check on everything, then her next round of chemo starts on the following Tuesday, two days before school starts.

This week we are going to try and get in some rest and relaxation before school starts. We have to go to clinic, go in for an audiogram, dentist, pediatrician for annual physicals, meet with Hannah's teacher and between all of that, maybe a little time at the beach if the weather cooperates.

Glad to be home! xoxo Kim

    Dear Hannah,
I am glad to hear that you are doing better. Maybe sometime you and Colby can come over in the hot tub or the pool.
    See you soon!

    Hi Hannah,
We are so glad you are home from the hospital. School will be starting soon and we can't wait to see you!
We were sad that we missed your bake sale and hope you have another sometime. We were on another camping trip. We went to Cedar Point (Ohio). Our campsite was underneath a rollercoaster! It was really fun.

    Lots of Hugs,
    Colleen & Joe xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

    Hi Hannah!

I can't believe I missed your bake sale. Do you realize how much you could have made if I was there? You probably would have had to call in the Hostess Twinkie people to back you up!

Glad to hear you are out of the hospital. Kate and Lynsey started school this morning so feel fortunate you still have some summer left. Get to the beach and enjoy your summer. Save some tomatoes for me too!

    Love - Uncle Mike

P.S. Keep me posted on your can recycling. We go through 6-10 cases of soda a day here!
