I guess Hannah saved the best for last, Wednesday afternoon she started to feel a bit of nausea at the hospital, she got sick after we got home. We're still trying to flush her system with lots of water to get the chemo out of her body and be sure her kidneys are not affected. We started the shots at home today, with lots of fanfare and screaming. Even with the shots, her counts will continue to go down, maybe just not so far. We have to be careful now about germs, not going to crowded places, no one around with colds and lots of handwashing. The last thing we want is an infection that would send us back to the hotel!
We thought you might enjoy a picture of Hannah with her bandaid collection. Her latest edition to the collection are the Boo bandaids (Halloween) which we didn't have!! Thanks to the Mackins.
xoxo Kim

I am so sorry to hear that you are dealing with a small "glitch". With both of your's strength and perseverance I am confident that this is just a speed bump. Hank in there Hanna Banana and Kim. Your strength and commitment to 'slaying the dragon" is an inspiration to every one who knows you...and those of us who love you are beyond inspired! Keep strong...you are in our thoughts and prayers! Love you both

We are sending a package to you in the next few days.. I am sure you will like it.. Also in the pack is a gift for Colby as well. We are really glad to hear that things went much better until the end and you got to go home as scheduled. Make sure that you drink that milk in the morning(and no pouring it out in sink) Everything that you put in your body will help to get that chemo out. Sydney has been so excited to talk to you because she can finally cantor on her own. She really got motivation after seeing you and Colby riding your horses. She really enjoyed seeing you two ride. We miss you and enjoy the rest of the summer. By the way did you find mom's sunglasses yet? We love you and miss you guys.
Love Aunt Susie
Hello Hannah Love,
How are you feeling today? I hope you had a good rest last night and you had a great appetite this morning.
Well, that is quite the collection of band-aids. I certainly will know where to come if I need any or a particular one. You must have over 100 of them. How cool is that. I am still looking for some different ones.
Did you ever get to read your story yet? How many are in the series? I'll try to see if I can find you some more.
How are the Yankees' doing? I have not heard since their win on Sunday!!
I hear you are going to try and ride tomorrow. You go girl!! Send a picture.
I pray for sunny days, happy times and peace upon you always.
I Love You Much
Love & Blessings,
Mrs. Baker(Lynnis)
HI, MY NAME IS GLORIA QUAINTANCE. I MET YOU AND HANNAH IN BOSTON. MY SON JOSHUA (18 MONTHS) WAS GETTING PROTON THE SAME TIME AS HANNAH. I FOUND YOUR WEB-SITE THROUGH GABBY'S SITE.
I ALWAYS ENJOYED HANNAH'S BRIGHT SMILE AND HER SLIPPERS.
JOSH ALSO HAS TO GET SHOTS AFTER HIS CHEMO TREATMENTS. WHEN WE WERE IN BOSTON, WE LEARNED OF NEULASTA. THIS IS A ONE SHOT DEAL. HE ONLY NEEDS ONE SHOT 24-48 HOURS AFTER CHEMO INSTEAD OF THE NEUPOGEN SHOTS OF 10-12 DAYS. THAT WAS SUCH A FIGHT. MAYBE, THIS WOULD WORK FOR HANNAH.
MY SON ALSO HAD TO GET A FEEDING TUBE. HE HAD ONE SURGICAL PUT INTO HIS STOMACH. HE SEEMS TO NOT BE BOTHERED BY IT. IT HAS BEEN A BLESSING.
I AM GLAD I FOUND HANNAH'S SITE. IT IS NICE TO KNOW HOW THE KIDS FROM BOSTON ARE DOING. I DON'T MISS BOSTON, BUT I MISS THE STAFF. THEY WERE AMAZING. RACHEL WAS GREAT, SHE ALWAYS KNEW HOW TO MAKE JOSH SMILE.
TAKE CARE, I'LL CHECK UP ON HANNAH TO SEE HER PROGRESS.

Dear Hannah,
We love your band-aid collection! Colleen has been reading "Judy Moody" books and Judy has a band-aid collection too.
We really liked your pictures from Vermont. We just came back from camping in Maine. We toasted smores too!
We hope you feel better and are able to have more fun times this summer!
We love you & miss you! We will look for you in Webkins.
Lots of Hugs,
Colleen & Joe xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Hi there Prokop family! I have been very busy lately, but not too busy to keep tabs on you.....I'm so glad that round 4 is done and that you are at home getting healthy!
I love your Aunt Susie's advice that everything you put into your body is flushing the toxins of chemo out....so keep eating lots and lots and that will help you be strong!
I love your band-aid collection, Logan got some Nascar band-aids for his 6th birthday and I didn't think you would want those....but we're going to St. Louis this weekend and I'm going to look for some neat ones down there, especially at Anhauser-Busch, what if they have beer band-aids....that would be hilarious!!
Well I hope that your weekend brings good times, healthy days, and lots of sunshine. We love you lots and lots and think of you every day!
Take care!
All our love -
Randy, Angela, Logan, and Noah
Dear Kim, Hannah, Dave & Colby
I just spent the morning catching up on your blog; this is my first visit. I am so amazed and motivated by everyone's strength, especially Hannah's!!!
Hannah, I believe you get a lot of that from your mom, she is a very strong person and a "go-getter"!
I am an old friend of you mother's back here in Indiana and we are Cub fans and 'da Bear fans. But I can definately understand Derek Jeter, and the New York Yankees!
My son Cole is eight and he has agreed to help out with the band aid collection. He was quite impressed with your's. So stay strong and know that you are ALWAYS in our thoughts and prayers back here in Indiana!
Teresa & Cole!
Dear Hannah,
We looked and looked at all your bandaids and couldn't find the Red Sox bandaids we sent. We hope you were not hiding them in the back and don't want to think that maybe the Boston Red Sox could win the pennant this year. The man from Boston with all the hats got good news this week after the proton therapy at the Mass General where you met him and gave him that Yankees hat that he wears every day. Going to Boston with Mom was well worth the trip. Love to you, Kim.
